About the Instructor

Denisse Romero has 10 years of experience teaching foreign languages to students of all ages. Having been born in Ecuador, a small and beautiful country in South America, she developed an interest in foreign languages at an early age. During her elementary and secondary education, she studied English, German and French, while at the same time obtaining awards for Spanish writing, grammar and spelling in her native country. In 1997, Denisse moved to the United States to pursue a college degree in International Business. Since then, Denisse has held a variety of positions in education, marketing, finance, and communications. For the past four years, Denisse has worked as a Web Editor at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC and as the founder of MacQuil.com - a study abroad and travel portal.
